Job ID: J-00296835IntroductionWe are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in solid modeling, detailed drawings, material fabrication, and mechanical design to join our DUV MDEV team. This position will be focused on developing and sustaining mechanical detail parts and assemblies and completing drawing updates for change orders for our DUV lasers.Role and Responsibilites:Mechanical design of machined, sheet metal, and plastic partsCreate solid models and detail drawings in CreoConduct problem solving on mechanical fit and performance issuesCollaborate with vendors on the fabrication of mechanical partsDesign production fixtures for assembly and alignmentProcess engineering change orders and updating drawing documentation in AgileCollaborate with other engineering groups such as Optics, Chambers, Systems, Manufacturing, and Controls on sub-system designOther responsibilities may be added as business conditions ariseEducation and Experience:Requires a B.S in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentMinimum of 3 years of mechanical design/drafting experienceExperience designing mechanical parts (machined, sheet metal, molded)Proficient with CAD software (solid modeling and detailed drawings).
