The role requires a highly organized individual with strong attention to detail, sense of urgency and ability to multi-task. Must have very strong aptitude for technology with the ability to learn and adapt to ever evolving software in connection with performing job duties. Must be proactive and thrive in a demanding, fast-paced and constantly changing environment.RESPONSIBILITIES:* Executive assistant to tax department chair and tax leadership team.* Tax Partner and Department support.* Manage calendars and schedule internal and external meetings, logistics, materials and communications.* Coordinate department projects and initiatives as assigned by department leadership.* Assist with the research, assessment, and implementation of technology based tools to help streamline department processes and procedures.* Help develop department best practices and processes leading to increased efficiency and organization.* Take minutes and follow up on action items* Assist with various administrative aspects, including but not limited to preparation of correspondence, answering client calls, copying, filing and scanning.* Prepare new client acceptance forms and engagement letters.* Prepare Tax organizers.* Tax Assembly.* Prosystem rollovers.* Billing/AR as needed.* Manage client statements and forms.* Coordinate lunches and events as requested.* Scheduling travel and itineraries.* Assist in the preparation of PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets.* Other Duties as requested.QUALIFICATIONS:* AA or BA Degree preferred.* 3-5+ years of experience.* Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills.* Ability to handle confidential materials in a professional manner.* Effective communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal).* Ability to work on a team.* Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret.* Quick learner who is both efficient and productive.* Technology savvy.Job Type: Full-timeJob Type: Full-timePay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Flexible schedule* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* Paid time off* Parental leave* Professional development assistance* Referral program* Retirement plan* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shiftWork Location: Hybrid remote in Long Beach, CA 90806
