Requirements: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred. · 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including management roles. · Experience in manufacturing or aerospace industry strongly preferred. · Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and internal controls. · Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. · Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication abilities. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: The Controller oversees all accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance for the organization. This position ensures the accuracy of financial data, supports strategic planning, and drives efficiency in financial processes. The Controller works closely with executive leadership to develop long-term financial strategies and maintain fiscal integrity, serving as a key advisor in business decision-making. · Manage accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll. · Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. · Oversee budget preparation, forecasts, and cash flow management. · Ensure compliance with tax regulations and audit requirements. · Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets. · Collaborate with department heads and senior management on financial planning and performance metrics. · Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
