Exempt About the Role The Assistant Project Manager (APM) supports
Project Managers and senior leadership through all phases of
commercial construction projects from preconstruction through
closeout. Youll play a key role in ensuring that projects are
delivered with accuracy, timeliness, and integrity hallmarks of
Howard CDMs reputation for quality and craftsmanship. This position
is ideal for someone eager to grow into a future leadership role
while working hands-on with construction and development
professionals. What Youll Do Support project planning, scheduling,
budgeting, procurement, and closeout activities. Coordinate with
subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and field staff. Track RFIs,
submittals, change orders, budgets, and schedules. Prepare
contracts, reports, and meeting documentation. Monitor quality,
safety, and compliance on active projects. Learn Howard CDMs
management systems (Procore, Sage 300, Bluebeam). What Were Looking
For Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering,
Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience). 35 years
of commercial construction project coordination or management
support. Experience or aptitude with: Procore Sage 300 CRE Bluebeam
Revu Microsoft Excel & Project Strong organizational,
communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage
multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Compensation &
