Job Description:
A company is looking for a Principal Systems Engineer -
RoIP.
Key Responsibilities
Support Radio over IP (RoIP) deployments throughout the system
lifecycle, including pre-sales and post-sales
Provide technical and sales support for accounts in public safety
and commercial markets
Develop system architectures and perform system requirement
analysis to ensure effective design communication to customers
Required Qualifications
Four-year college degree in information technology, computer
science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
Eight years of experience in Land Mobile Radio (LMR), Information
Technology (IT), and/or Internet Protocol (IP) networking
Knowledge of LMR systems, RoIP technology, VoIP, and overall IP
networking technology
Ability to configure/program various LMR equipment from
manufacturers like Motorola and Kenwood
Certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CCNP in Route and Switch,
Security, and IP telephony are desired
