Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A special education teacher position is available in a
school setting located in Norwalk, CT. This contract role offers an
opportunity to work with diverse student populations across various
grade levels, including early childhood, elementary, middle, and
high school. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement
individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students with
special needs. Collaborate with general education teachers,
administrators, and families to support student success. Utilize
specialized instructional strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching methods
as needed. Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment
that encourages student participation. Desired Qualifications:
Experience teaching special education students in early childhood,
elementary, middle, and/or high school settings. Knowledge of
special education laws, regulations, and best practices. Strong
communication and teamwork skills. Ability to create engaging
lesson plans and modify curriculum to meet diverse student needs.
Patience, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to supporting
