active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Physical
Therapist opportunity is available for the full school year working
with a K-12 caseload. This position is based at a school in Long
Beach, CA, and offers a contract role designed for professionals
experienced in pediatric physical therapy within educational
settings. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver physical therapy services
to students across grades K-12 based on individual education plans
(IEPs). - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary
teams to support student goals and promote functional independence.
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document
progress in compliance with school and state guidelines. - Provide
consultation and recommendations to classroom staff to facilitate
adaptive equipment use and injury prevention. - Participate in team
meetings and contribute to the development of individualized
educational plans. Qualifications: - Licensed Physical Therapist
with appropriate state certification. - Experience working with
pediatric populations in schools preferred. - Strong knowledge of
K-12 physical therapy caseload management. - Ability to communicate
effectively with children, families, and school personnel. -
Commitment to supporting student development in a school
environment. Location: - Long Beach, California Benefits and
Compensation: - Hourly pay rate ranging from $60 to $65. -
