Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the
upcoming school year in the Long Beach, CA area. This contract
position supports the local school district and offers a dynamic
environment working with students ranging from early childhood
through adolescence. Responsibilities include managing caseloads of
50-60 students, providing speech-language evaluations, therapy, and
support in a school setting. Some assignments may be itinerant,
requiring flexibility to serve multiple sites. You'll collaborate
with district staff, participate in bi-weekly training cohorts, and
maintain compliance with district standards and protocols.
Candidates holding a valid California SLP license and SLP teaching
credential are required. Those in their Clinical Fellowship Year
(CF) will be considered, with supervision arranged by the agency.
Key Qualifications: Valid California SLP license and SLP teaching
credential Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Experience
working with school-aged children preferred, from entry-level (0-2
years) to experienced (10 years) Commitment to a full-time, 40-hour
work week with 8-hour days Ability to manage a high caseload
efficiently Strong interpersonal and communication skills Location:
Long Beach, CA work conducted onsite within the school district.
Additional Details: Contract dates: August 12, 2026, through June
4, 2027 Assessment materials reimbursement up to approximately
$2,500 is provided Start dates align with monthly or mid-month
