Technical Support Engineer provides highly visible remote
technical, applications and system administration support for
FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation (HCUS) customers. Supports
our RIS product. Works on issues where analysis of situations or
data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors which may
include customer impact, HCUS business priorities and regulatory
requirements. Receives little instruction on day-to-day work,
general instructions on new assignments. To meet the needs of our
customers, the ability to work outside of normal business hours and
holidays is required. External US Duties and
ResponsibilitiesPerforms remote troubleshooting of proprietary
software, Windows servers, client workstations, and network related
issues for our customers.Collaborate with other internal and
external groups on solving complex technical issues and developing
innovative solutions.Effectively documents problems and solutions
into a product knowledge database.Continuously develops personal
knowledge of related technologies by staying abreast with the
latest technological advances through continuous education.Ability
for short notice overnight travel to customer sites or
training.Ability to work as part of an on-call rotation which
includes afterhours/weekends/ holidays shifts once proficiency is
established.Learns and adheres to the Company's quality and
regulatory compliance requirements, without exception, and ensures
that all job duties inherent in the position description are
performed in accordance with established policies and
procedures.Must maintain Key Performance Indicators as set forth by
management.QualificationsAssociate degree or higher in computer
science or related field or equivalent work experience.Minimum of 3
years of troubleshooting experience using appropriate
troubleshooting techniques.Excellent analytical and communication
skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in
an easy to understand manner. Requires sound organization and
administrative skills, self-starter a must, along with excellent
documentation skills to comply with FDA and company required
standards.Professional communication skillset.Inquisitive,
creative, and self-directed with excellent time management
skills.Resourceful and thorough with a strong sense of
urgency.Exceptional multi-tasking and organizational skills.Ability
to prioritize and manage several concurrent projects.Ability to
achieve results and meet goals in a fast-paced, team
environment.Knowledge of Windows OS (Microsoft Server 2008, 2012,
2016, 2019+),networking, SQL Server and Oracle.Ability to travel,
some short notice may be required.Preferred SkillsAdvanced
knowledge of PACS workflows and their implementations.Advanced
knowledge in Synapse application front endAdvanced knowledge of
medical informatics hardware (VMWare and StorageSolutions) 2+ years
maintaining/administratingExperience with clinical data transfer
protocols and interfaces (HL7 and DICOM)Industry-specific
certifications in relevant technical background (Microsoft,VMWare,
Cisco certificationsPhysical RequirementsThe position requires the
