to lead us to our vision. We are designing our next generation
eVTOL and growing our team of world class aviation professionals.
We are seeking a self-driven, passionate, and experienced CFD
engineer to join our team.Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute all aspects of eVTOL CFD analysis in different
flight conditions between hover and cruise through transition
- Generate CFD meshes and perform both steady and unsteady CFD
analysis using standard commercial tools (e.g., Fluent, StarCCM+)
and/or government tools (Fun3D, OverFlow)
- Conduct CFD analysis to support optimum aerodynamic design
- Generate aerodynamic data to compare with lower and medium
fidelity analysis, flight test data and wind tunnel data for
validation
- Generate aerodynamic loads for structural design and
aeroacoustics analysis
- Support aerodynamic analysis using lower and medium fidelity
tools as well as subscale modeling, testing and analysis

- Strong understanding of rotary-wing and fixed-wing
aerodynamics
- Strong understanding of fluid dynamics and CFD (RANS, uRANS,
LES)
- Expertise in using at least one of the standard CFD solvers
(Fluent or StarCCM+)

OverFlow
- Familiarity with Lattice Boltzmann method
- Familiarity with aeroelasticity and flutter analysis
- Familiarity with low-fidelity methods like AVL, XFOIL,

version control (bitbucket, JIRA)
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++,
Fortran
- PhD focused on rotorcraft CFD applications
