Job Description:
A company is looking for a Lead Substation Engineer - Protection
& Controls.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the technical lead on substation protection and control
design projects from concept through execution
Deliver high-quality engineering packages and conduct system
calculations to ensure robust design performance
Mentor junior engineers and collaborate cross-functionally to meet
project goals
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited
institution
EIT required; PE license strongly preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in high-voltage (15-500kV) substation
protection and control design
Proven expertise in relay logic, SCADA integration, and system
protection
Strong commitment to technical excellence and mentoring junior
engineers
