Job Description Job Description Machinist CNC Lathe Set-Up / Operator Position Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Set-Up / Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathe machinery to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes and a commitment to maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Set up CNC lathe machines for production runs Operate CNC lathes to produce high-quality parts Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards Conduct precision measurements using appropriate tools Maintain accurate production records and documentation Qualifications Proven experience in lathe operation, preferably with Mori-Seki and Doosan machines Strong machining skills with a background as a machinist Familiarity with manual machining techniques is a plus Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Experience with precision measurement tools and techniques Knowledge of tooling, metalworking, and fabrication processes Understanding of machining processes and tolerance specifications Commitment to safety standards in a manufacturing environment Benefits Competitive Pay -$30-$41/hour DOE Medical Dental Vision PTO Sick time - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
