• SUMMARY:
  Well established International Freight Co. Services encompass Import / Export, Ocean, Air, Customs Brokerage, Warehousing and Distribution.
  
  Ideal candidates are career minded; Mgt. level, 5 years' Ocean Import Operations experience with an Int l Freight Forwarder.
  
  
  
  Starting pay:.. $ Depend on experience
  Hours:.. 8:00am- 5:00pm Monday Friday
  Location: .. Santa Fe Springs, CA
  Job Type:..Onsite / full time
  
  RESPONSIBILITIES:
  
• Supervise daily Import activities, Customs and domestic operations.
  
• Be directly involved (hands on) with the Logistics process
  
• Interact with Import clients to coordinate Ocean shipments
  
• Coordinating movements with steamship lines and overseas offices
  
• Perform post transaction follow up customer service.
  
• Liaise with Customs broker and client designated brokers to ensure timely entry with U.S. Customs, release and delivery to our warehouses and direct accounts.
  
• Develop SOP s and help train staff if and when needed
  
  
  QUALIFICATIONS:
  
• 3 years Import Supervisory / Mgr. experience with an International Freight Forwarder
  
• Strong understanding of the Importation Process
  
• Editrade Experience a plus
  
• Strong computer Skills; to analyze vendors, costs, rates, freights, process, etc.
  
• Experience dealing with U.S. Customs and various regulations
  
• Ability to work with demanding deadlines in a high pressure environment.
  
  
• Must be able to pass any federal/state/local government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug tests.
