As Snowflake Alliance Manager, you will play an integral role in deepening Alation s relationships with one of most strategic partners.
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Global Cloud Alliances you will have a unique opportunity to lead our alliance efforts with our strategic partners in these critical areas.What You'll Be Doing

  • Act as primary point of contact and advocate for Snowflake, one of Alation s most important and strategic partners
  • Forge relationship with Field Sales and Business Units leader to promote collaboration with our collective customers
  • Work closely with Alation Sales and Marketing to develop GTM plans, including sales plays and co-sell motions with Snowflake
  • Review global co-sell metrics monthly with Snowflake to measure success of partnering in the field
  • Explore new lines of business, building and deepening partner relationships while successfully leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Engage executives from both Snowflake and Alation to ensure alignment at the highest of levels
  • Work closely with Snowflake Partner organization, both at a global level and at individual subsidiaries
  • Work with Snowflake sales leaders and partner sales teams
  • Align with and enable Alation global sales teams to generate revenue with Snowflake
  • Collaborate with Alation partner sales engineering for internal and external GTM & enablement activities
  • Value selling of Alation with Snowflake and the product surround strategy
  • Train Snowflake partner teams and account executives on Alation and how to best work with Alation account executives
  • Identify and execute new programs that benefits both Snowflake and Alation
  • Manage Snowflake funding programs with our partner funding team
  • Help to grow our business on Snowflake Marketplace and develop a roadmap for future capabilities with our SalesOps and Order management teams
  • Build business plans collaboratively with Snowflake and Alation field sales staff and work with cross-functional teams internally (Sales, Sales Operations, Legal, Finance, Partner Marketing, Product, etc.) to achieve company objectives
  • Collaborate with marketing to design and implement marketing programs and GTM strategiesWhat You'll Bring
    • Minimum 5 years of relevant business development and/or sales alliance experience
    • 2+ years of experience working at or partnering with the Snowflake field organization
    • Prior background in software and SaaS
    • Proven success in managing alliances partnerships and the ability to identify and capitalize on areas of mutual business interests
    • Knowledge/experience working in the Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Cloud or Data Analytics space preferred
    • Strong verbal and executive presentation skills
    • Strong skills in multitasking, communication, negotiation, organization, and teamwork
    • Proven self-starter with a high degree of initiative and ability to learn quickly
    • Ability to travel 30%#LI-EF1
