ResponsibilitiesThe Mammography/Radiology Technologist performs
duties in alignment with the mission and policies of the
organization. The Mammography/Radiology Technician performs duties
in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement
plan, JCAHO and other licensing, accrediting and regulatory
agencies. This position must maintain required licensing to perform
general radiographic procedures and mammographic procedures.
Specific responsibilities for the Mammography/Radiology
Technologist includes taking and processing films. In addition, the
position provides direct patient care for patients ranging from
birth through geriatric.
- Mammography certification by ARRT preferred, ACS BSE
- BLS certified.
- Graduated accredited school of X-ray Technology.
- Basic office management skills with a working knowledge of
computer systems, including Microsoft Word processing and data
entry; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; excellent
organizational skills; ability to be flexible and work
- AART and CRT in Diagnostic Radiology, CRT in Mammography.
- 5 years mammography experience preferred.
