A medium sized hospital in Los Angeles is actively seeking a Cerner Clinical Quality Data Analyst to play an important role within their Quality and Performance Improvement Department. As this hospital strive towards Magnet Designation, the Cerner Clinical Quality Data Analyst will ensure up to date QAPI data is accurate, streamlined and current for the Quality Management Committees to interpret and utilize. This acute care medical center utilizes Cerner Electronic Medical Records and the Cerner Clinical Quality Data Analyst will also use computer software for statistical analysis such as: SAS, STATA, Tableau and SQL.
Data abstraction will be utilized to pull confidential internal patient data and external reference data. The Cerner Clinical Quality Data Analyst will ensure proper security of this private data. Moreover, with a collaborative approach, the Performance Improvement and Healthcare Quality Directors at this hospital will work with the Cerner Clinical Quality Data Analyst to draft improvement plans and re-draft data samples.
