Part-Time Anesthesiologist - St. Mary's Medical Center

Anesthesiologist needed in Long Beach, CA to join our team!

  • 10 ORs + 2 OBs - 427 beds - L2 6 OR plus 1 OB Trauma - Starts 7 am to 5 pm and/or 7 am to 7 pm
  • Average 7,388 cases + 1,055 births annually - general, ortho, urology, - hearts, heads, trauma, neuro, peds - + OB (100 deliveries a month)
  • Shift types: 10s, 12s, 24s
  • Typical day when not on call runs 7 am to 5 pm, call 1x or 2x a week/post call off; Backup call - response call within 30 minutes
  • Care team model
  • Provide direct anesthesia services to Center patients, on average the clinician will be expected to work 100% clinical
  • Managing incidents or complications
  • Communications with onsite Medical Director on questions regarding safety and policy and procedure protocols
  • Assist and collaborate with your peers efficiently and effectively to ensure smooth patient care and safety Requirements
    • Active state license - DEA - State CDS
    • Board certified required
    • ACLS - PALS - BLS
