seeking a NICU RN with at least 2 years of Level III NICU
experience and a current CA RN license for night shifts in a
hospital setting. Responsibilities - Work within a Level III NICU
in a hospital environment - Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts,
19:00-07:30 - Every other weekend or as needed weekend coverage is
required - Floating required to PICU and CTICU units - Patients
include critically ill neonates requiring specialized intensive
care - Epic EMR system is used - First-time travelers accepted if
they meet the experience requirements - Pre-approved time off is
limited to 5 days or less and must be requested prior to
consideration - No on-call requirement for this role - EPIC
training modules must be completed pre-start, with approximately 8
hours required for RNs - Holiday and time-off requests are subject
to manager discretion - Candidates living within 50 miles are
considered locals for pay purposes Requirements - Active CA RN
license in hand is required - Minimum 2 years of Level III NICU
nursing experience required - BLS and Advanced NRP certifications
required - Experience with phototherapy, tube feed/gavage, blood
product administration, PICC and peripheral line management,
anti-seizure medications, caffeine, vasopressors, neonatal
abstinence, phlebotomy, bubble CPAP, HFNC, and ventilators - Must
provide at least one professional reference from within the past 2
years - No previous permanent employment at the same health system
