Collaboration: Long Beach Memorial Medical Center is a 420-bed
non-profit teaching hospital that has been recognized as a major
regional provider of medical and surgical services by US News and
World Report. Intensivists will rotate through both Med/Surg ICU
and CVICU (depending on need). 15-bed CVICU (non-teaching service)
32-bed Med/Surg ICU, which is the teaching service with Internal
Medicine residents and Pulmonary/Critical Care Fellows EMR: Cerner
with Dragon for dictation Qualifications : Board-certified or
board-eligible critical care physicians (MD or DO) A commitment to
excellence in clinical service, with strong problem-solving
abilities essential for the ICU setting Active California medical
license preferred Practice in the Heart of the Community
Scheduling: 7 on 7 off schedule. One week of days and one week of
nights per month. Key Responsibilities: This is an ideal
environment for someone wanting to care for the full spectrum of
critically ill patients. Opportunity to teach residents and fellows
at the bedside. Living and Working in Long Beach: Long Beach is a
beautiful, vibrant beachfront community located ½ hour from Los
Angeles. Numerous unique dining and shopping destinations are mixed
with eclectic neighborhoods, arts and culture, history,
family-friendly activities, and endless sports and recreation
opportunities in this urban waterfront playground. Enjoy a live
