Physician - OBGYN/OB Hospitalist Position Type: Full Time Hybrid Private/Academic Maternal-Fetal Medicine Practice Seeking An OB Hospitalist We are recruiting a BC/BE Ob Hospitalist to join our MFM team at Long Beach Memorial Hospital in Long Beach, CA. ~ Hospitalist responsibilities include high risk delivery attendance, patient evaluation/management, fetal monitoring and ER coverage ~ High risk OB patients only/no GYN responsibilities ~ Ob-Gyn residents and Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellows ~ Collaboration with Community Physicians ~ Level IV NICU with full pediatric medical and surgical subspecialty support including a pediatric cardiovascular program ~24-hour in-house shifts Long Beach is located about 25 miles south of downtown Los Angeles bordering the northern edge of Orange County. BC/BE Ob-Gyn Regular full-time is classified as team members who are consistently scheduled and work 30 hours or more on a weekly basis. A newly hired full-time team member will receive a prorated lump-sum grant after working for 90 days. A lumpsum grant will then be provided on January 1 in each subsequent year as long as the team member remains eligible. Unused sick leave granted under this policy does not carry over from one year to the following year.
