Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/10/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of IR experience and current CA license for a busy hospital setting. Responsibilities - Work in an interventional radiology department within a hospital environment - Patient populations include pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics - Specialized procedures include laser-assisted interventions, angioplasty, biopsies, stent placements, and embolizations - Experience with procedures such as ERCP, paracentesis, thoracentesis, cholecystostomy, nephrostomy, and vascular colure systems - Equipment includes Omnicell medication system - Electronic documentation is required - Day shift schedule: 5x8 hour shifts, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM - Call required 1-2 days per week and one weekend per month - Weekend coverage every third weekend - Candidates may float within the hospital based on census needs - Scrubs are provided for all staff - Modules must be completed during orientation with hours varying by specialty - Epic EMR training is provided as part of onboarding - No previous permanent staff within the facility may apply - First-time travelers will be considered only with sufficient experience - Time-off requests must be less than 5 days and must be presented at the time of application - One reference from the last 2 years is required for consideration - Locals are accepted under different pay structure Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of interventional radiology experience required - Previous travel experience required - Current CA state license required for consideration - Certifications required: ARRT R, CCI RCIS, BLS, and ACLS - Proficiency in a broad range of interventional and special procedures - Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and maintain sterile field in scrub role - Experience with Omnicell medication system - License required if applicable Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-623677.
