Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring a Neonatal ICU RN with a CA license, at least 2 years of NICU experience, and BLS/NRP certifications. Responsibilities - Work in the NICU in a hospital setting - Night shift, 4x12s, 19:00-07:30 - Patients are neonatal intensive care level III - Floats required to PICU and CTICU as needed - Uses Epic EMR documentation system - Every other weekend or as needed weekend coverage is required - No on-call requirement - RTO (time off) up to 5 days may be approved but black out dates apply including Black Friday and December 21-23 - All time off requests must be submitted with application and are subject to manager discretion - Locals are accepted at the local rate if residing within 50 miles - Responsibilities include high acuity neonatal care and support across NICU, PICU, and CTICU as required Requirements - Active CA RN license required - Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required - Current BLS and Advanced NRP certifications required - Demonstrated skills with phototherapy, tube feed/gavage, blood and blood products, PICC, peripheral line management, anti-seizure meds, caffeine, vasopressors, neonatal abstinence, phlebotomy, bubble CPAP, HFNC, and vent management - First-time travelers welcomed if they have at least 2 years of relevant NICU experience Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-619924.
