a qualified Telemetry RN in Redlands, California, 92373! Job Title:

dysrhythmias Interpretation of dysrhythmias Telemetry monitoring
Description: The role involves working as a telemetry nurse in a
community hospital. Responsibilities include managing non-titrated
cardiac drips such as Amiodarone, Milrinone, Lasix, Cardizem,
Dopamine, and Dobutamine. Patient diagnoses include Sepsis, Stroke,
Respiratory Failure, COPD, Pneumonia, NSTEMI, Alcohol Withdrawal,
Congestive Heart Failure, Acute or Chronic Renal Failure, and
Cirrhosis. The average daily census is approximately 40 patients.
Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services, lift
teams, pharmacy, phlebotomy, physical therapy, radiology, rapid
response teams, respiratory services, social services,
transportation, and unit secretary. Provider coverage includes
hospitalists and intensivists. On-call and weekend shifts are
required, along with floating within areas of competency such as
telemetry, observation, and medical-surgical nursing. The role
utilizes an electronic medical record system for documentation.
Communication follows the SBAR format, and a dress code of blue
scrubs is required (plain/no logos). Experience managing the
following is essential: feeding tubes, pre/post hemodialysis,
accessing ports, blood product administration, central line care,
peripheral line care, PICC line management, starting IVs, and
heparin protocols. Knowledge in managing cardiac drips and
vasoactive drips (non-titrated) is necessary. Comprehensive skills
in tracheostomy management, isolation precautions, and wound care
are preferred. Vendor experience and background in neuro stepdown,
PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, post-cardiac angiogram, PCA, and pre/post
neurosurgery are advantageous. Work encompasses caring for
adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Daily patient ratio is
approximately 3-4 patients per nurse. The unit is equipped to
manage a variety of patient needs, including high flow nasal
cannula and non-invasive airway management. 5 Benefits of Travel
