Marriott International invites you to become an integral part of our renowned hospitality team as an In Room Dining Order Taker. This role is pivotal in enriching the guest experience by ensuring each meal is a highlight of their stay. Your primary duty will be to serve our guests courteously and efficiently through taking and coordinating their in-room dining requests. With your keen attention to detail and unwavering commitment to service excellence, you will contribute directly to the quality that Marriott is known for worldwide. Answer in-room dining calls and process orders with accuracy and attention to detail. Provide menu recommendations and upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Handle special guest requests and dietary requirements with care and professionalism. Maintain a thorough knowledge of all menu items, hotel services, and local information. Ensure billing is processed correctly and guest feedback is communicated to management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational abilities and multitasking skills Knowledge of POS systems and basic computer applications Ability to work flexibly in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Certification in hospitality or hotel management is advantageous but not required.
