Job Description SS&C Advent, a leading provider of award-winning software and services for the global investment management industry, is seeking a Front End Software Engineer . This role is part of the User Interface development team focused on modernizing of SS&C Advents award-winning Geneva portfolio management and accounting platform. Job Responsibilities: Develop modular and scalable code for front-end applications Work in all phases of software development lifecycle Provide a great user experience for our end users. Work effectively with User Experience, Business Analyst and QA teams. Contribute to presentation-layer standards and best practices. Qualifications / Requirements: 2+ years of Front-End Web Development Experience. Knowledge and experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Knowledge and Experience with JavaScript Frameworks such as React, Angular, etc. Strong communication skills. BS/BA from accredited college or university. Experience and/or knowledge of the following is a plus: Writing unit tests and working with automated testing tools. Working with Front End build, packaging tools such as Webpack, NPM Scripts.
