This is a unique team that leads RF and baseband innovations across our Wi-Fi access point product line, and involved in the benchmarking and certification of our access points. -We are hiring a senior-level architect has solid fundamentals in wireless communication theory, extensive experience and familiarity with Wi-Fi 802.11 standards and protocol stack to join our growing team.Key ResponsibilitiesExcel in a collaborative environment and lead RF/baseband innovations across the wider team in RUCKUS.Participate in Wi-Fi systems performance tests for benchmarking and certification purposes.Ensure a high-level of performance and robustness for new AP models.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex networking and deployment issues.Be part of the customer-facing engineering team to support the sales efforts in public seminars and events, customer engagements, and critical issues. -Required Skills -Demonstrated experience and exposure with the IEEE 802.11 standards and protocol stack, especially in 802.11ac and 802.11ax.Strong theoretical background in wireless networks and protocols, communication theory and RF propagation.PhD or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related work experience. -You"ll excite us if you have:Prior experience in the 802.11 standards body or wireless chipset vendorFamiliarity with cloud technologies and AI/ML techniques -#LI-RB1#LI-REMOTE- TEXAS, MA -Why CommScope: -CommScope is on a quest to deliver connectivity that empowers how we live, work, and learn. -Our employees push the boundaries of communications technology that enables game-changing discoveries like 5G, the Internet of Things, and gigabit speeds for everyone, everywhere. -With our unmatched expertise in copper, fiber, and wireless infrastructure, our global clients rely on us to outperform today and be ready for the needs of tomorrow. -
