Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Machinery Testers for a project located in San Diego, CA. - This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $31/hour for local candidates and up to $22/hour for travelers based on experience and skill level plus $130/per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope: - - - - -

• 
  
• Assist with tests and trials for marine machinery -
  
• Shipboard piping system work -
  
• Form and shape basic material
  
• May operate CNC based machinery, lathes, drill presses, mills, routers, grinding machines, duplicating, and profile machines, brakes and shears
  
• May operate light-duty bench or floor machine tools small lathes, power mills, extruding machines, drills or punch presses
  
• Works from basic drawings, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks, which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions
  
• Sets up machines and makes adjustments, and performs maintenance on machines
  
• Checks work using prescribed gauges, jigs and fixtures to measure close tolerances
  
• Monitors and verifies quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures
  
  Requirements
  
  • 
    
  • EPA certification is a plus
    
  • Experience with UNREP systems, mooring winches, cranes and DBID's are required
    
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening - -
    
  • Must have Maritime OSHA 10 and FW training -
