Consultant serves in a critical role supporting sales and delivery,
driving customer success through expert consultation, solution
design, and implementation excellence. This role combines technical
expertise with strategic problem-solving to help AEC industry
clients maximize value from their technology investments. Technical
Consultants support customers throughout their journey with ARKANCE
solutions and technologies. While primarily focused on post-sales
delivery, the role requires flexibility to engage in pre-sales
activities when technical expertise is needed to advance
opportunities. This role offers exceptional growth potential at the
convergence of consulting, engineering, and customer enablement. It
provides hands-on experience ideal for professionals building
careers in data engineering, construction technology, or solution
architecture, with exposure to enterprise-scale implementations and
emerging technologies in the AEC sector. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Technical Expertise • Degree in Construction Management,
Architecture, Engineering, or similar AECO fields • 5-7 years of
Subcontractor, General Contractor, and/or Owner/Developer industry
experience • General knowledge of ERP systems prevalent in the
construction industry • Comprehensive understanding of costing
mechanisms including Budgeting, Pay Applications/Requisitions,
Change Management, and Forecasting Business and Industry Knowledge
• Thorough understanding of Construction Project Lifecycles •
Ability to coordinate effectively when multiple project priorities
conflict and provide viable solutions • Excellent communication and
presentation skills to effectively communicate solutions/benefits
of technology and services • Proficient with Microsoft Word,
PowerPoint, and Excel • Willingness to travel up to 50% • Good
working attitude and desire to be a key team member making a
difference in the construction industry • Proven track record as a
thought-leader in previous roles and the industry at large •
Proactive commitment to project/customer success • Proven ability
to drive customer satisfaction in fast-paced, high-stress
environments • Demonstrated ability to work with industry-specific
companies at business-to-business level, identifying and providing
solutions that fulfill client business needs Preferred
Qualifications • Extensive knowledge of Autodesk offerings • Proven
sales knowledge and experience in sales methodologies • Familiarity
with Revit/Navisworks best practices and workflows • Thorough
understanding of integrations between systems, such as middleware

impact on customer success in the dynamic AECO industry. Essential
Functions Customer-Facing Services (30%-50% Billable Time) · Drive
successful implementations for Construction-specific accounts
(Subcontractor, General Contractor, Owner/Developer) with customers
$50M in annual revenue · Manage up to 10 implementations
simultaneously, including both strategic and program-level
customers · Deliver advanced training, consulting, and
implementation services focused on high-level scenarios specific to
Autodesk Construction Cloud portfolio · Perform "Discovery"
consultations to uncover and identify additional products and
services for unrealized customer needs · Develop detailed proposal
documentation with schedules of work based on customer needs and
recommendations · Deliver on-site training as a professional
technical representative to ensure customer satisfaction · Leverage
real-world construction experience to define customer workflows and
identify stopgaps and deficiencies · Develop and implement detailed
customer installations and implementation plans that optimize
software use for construction processes · Support customer success
through technical product implementation, consulting, mentoring,
training, and support services · Provide technical product
assistance ensuring technical satisfaction · Establish high level
of confidence with major accounts while maintaining equal
commitment to small and medium-sized accounts · Adhere to
company-standard technical implementations to address specific
customer needs · Manage $25,000 or more of customer project work
quarterly Sales Support Activities (20%-30% Pre-Sales Time) · Lead
late-stage pre-sales scoping sessions to define scale and scope of
potential implementations · Develop and conduct professional
product presentations and demonstrations to generate sales ·
Partner with sales team to share in-depth product and customer
knowledge to increase sales of Autodesk products and
ARKANCE-supported solutions · Identify additional products and
services to develop current accounts and meet unrealized customer
needs · Provide competitive analysis of Autodesk products versus
competitive products throughout the post-sales cycle · Provide
technical feedback to Autodesk based on customer observations to
influence product updates · Relay information to Autodesk regarding
new product enhancements and prioritizations based on customer
input Administrative and Development Activities (10%-20% Overhead
Time) · Provide mentorship and leadership to Technical Specialist
team, setting standards for excellence · Champion innovative
approaches and continuously enhance customer experience · Maintain
industry-recognized leadership position through social networking
and public events including: product tips/tricks, white papers,
publication articles, marketing presentations, tradeshows, AU
presentations, and blogging · Maintain cutting-edge experience with
Autodesk Tools within 2 years of release and other software
applications as determined by management · Complete mandatory
weekly digital timesheet accounting · Maintain consistent tracking
of customer hours and communication with Project Managers · Provide
open communication with project-assigned PM regarding project
probability of success/failure *Individual targets may vary based
on assignments and initiatives tasked to the team members. · All
other duties as assigned · Duties and assignments are subject to
change Physical Requirements: • Requires prolonged period of
sitting, with occasional standing • Continuous use of computers and
other office equipment • Occasionally required to lift, carry, push
or pulling and/or move up to 10-25 lbs. • The ability to travel may
be required for key events Pay range for this position: $98k-135k
