Job Description:
A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Defense
Attorney.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze complex legal and factual issues, conduct extensive legal
research, and develop defense strategies
Prepare complex pleadings, written discovery, and trial briefs
autonomously
Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
while facilitating case dispositions
Required Qualifications
JD from an accredited law school and a license to practice in
California
Minimum of 2 years (Staff Attorney) or 5 years (Senior Staff
Attorney) of legal practice experience in Workers' Compensation
cases
Trial experience is preferred but not required
Strong proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools
Self-directed with excellent organizational and prioritization
skills
