Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, CA Compensation: $30 to $35 per hour,
commensurate with experience Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite,
Contract/Contract to Hire LHH is working with a boutique law firm
seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join their defense
litigation team, delivering comprehensive legal support to
attorneys across all phases of litigation. This role is ideal for a
Certified Litigation Paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced
environment, is highly organized, and demonstrates excellent
attention to detail. You will play a critical role in case
management, trial preparation, discovery, research, and
coordination with internal and external parties. Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-claim investigations and perform initial case
assessments Draft and file pleadings, motions, and appellate
documents Perform legal research and manage case files with
accuracy and efficiency Organize and maintain pleadings, discovery
indexes, and all related case documents Prepare exhibits, evidence,
briefs, and appendices for attorneys Assist attorneys with
interrogatories and other written discovery requests Serve as a
liaison between trial teams and external parties, including experts
and court personnel Support attorneys in preparation for trials,
hearings, and settlement negotiations Qualifications: Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience in a defense-focused
law firm environment Certification: Paralegal certification
required; valid certificate must be provided prior to hire Legal
Knowledge: Strong understanding of litigation procedures, discovery
processes, motions, and court rules Technical Skills: Proficiency
in WordPerfect, Excel, Outlook, E-Copy, Westlaw, Automated Forms,
and E-Filing systems Attention to Detail: Exceptional writing,
communication, and organizational skills Work Ethic:
Self-sufficient, proactive, and able to thrive in a team-oriented
environment Nice to Have: Bilingual abilities; Spanish preferred
