Job Description Job Description Key Responsibilities Manage a high-volume pre-litigation caseload (approximately 50–75 PI claims) from intake through demand submission. Conduct detailed client intakes, establish case files, and gather all relevant facts, insurance details, and liability information. Request, obtain, and track medical records, bills, and treatment updates; ensure complete, accurate medical summaries for demand packages. Draft, send, and track representation letters, preservation letters, and other correspondence to carriers and third parties. Communicate regularly with insurance adjusters regarding coverage, liability, treatment status, and property damage; document all interactions. Assist clients with property damage claims, including repairs, total loss processes, and rental coordination. Coordinate client treatment plans and follow-ups; monitor gaps in care and support compliance. Prepare comprehensive demand packages with exhibits (medical records, bills, wage loss, photos), and maintain organized case documentation. Maintain accurate notes, deadlines, and tasks in case management software; run and action weekly pipelines and aging reports. Escalate case risks promptly (e.g., coverage issues, comparative fault, treatment gaps, statute concerns). Collaborate with attorneys on case strategy and settlement positioning; support negotiation readiness. Required Qualifications 3 years of hands-on experience managing pre-litigation Personal Injury files (plaintiff-side strongly preferred). Full fluency in Spanish (verbal and written); able to communicate with clients and draft simple correspondence. Demonstrated ability to manage 50–75 active PI claims with strong organization and follow-through. Proficiency with computers and case management systems; accurate typing and documentation skills. Clear, professional communication with clients, providers, and insurance carriers. Strong attention to detail, task management, and deadline adherence in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Case Peer (Casepeer) case management software. Knowledge of California PI practices, medical terminology, insurance processes, and property damage workflows.
