The Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) is responsible for the clinical
oversight of Mental Health (MH), Substance Use Disorders (SUD),
Co-occurring Disorders (COD), WISe, and Crisis Services. CCO
ensures excellence in quality of service delivery and the
development of programs based on community needs. In addition, CCO
monitors high-quality, person-centered service delivery to ensure
services reflect client recovery plans and meet the local, county,
regional, and state policies and procedure; and represents the
agency in a positive and professional manner.

Work on-site as necessary or remotely using telehealth
technology as determined by management
Plan, implement, coordinate, and supervise the clinical services
under the supervision of the CEO; ensures quality clinical services
are provided; prepares reports as required.
Supervise and monitor all documentation activities for the
clinical programs in keeping with Agency philosophy and policies,
and State and County guidelines; establish, oversee, and
participate in Compliance, Quality Management/Assurance/Improvement
Recruit, hire, supervise, train, and evaluate clinical staff in
accordance with personnel policies and procedures and with
acceptable industry standards in consultation with the CEO;
complete all reviews of staff directly supervised and oversee the
evaluations of all other clinical staff within the month that they
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and
Minimum of five (5) years direct clinical experience plus a
minimum of three (3) years administrative or supervisory
Comprehensive experience in program management and program
Current registered/certification/ license and willingness to
obtain other credentials for program management oversight.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer
proficiency to document in the electronic medical record (EMR) and
utilize telehealth and Microsoft office suite.
Undergo and pass criminal background check upon initial
employment and any subsequent checks required by the agency.
Meet requirements of agency’s drug free workplace policy and
ability to drive a company or personal vehicle under Agency’s
Excellent customer service with a client focus.
Doctorate in a Behavioral Health Field such as PhD or PsyD
Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s in
Healthcare or Hospital Administration (MHA)
