HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Partner with senior management, production leaders, and team
members to plan, develop, and implement new products, services, and
related operational/manufacturing capabilities and support
Act as change agent in implementing best practices and
improvement systems (eg: Lean & Six Sigma, etc.) resulting in a
best-in-class, sustainable lean operating environment.
Develop a strong problem-solving culture with the capabilities
to rapidly resolve operational issues.
Drive improvement in all aspects of the operation by seeking,
sharing, and implementing best practices across the front and back
Facilitate all plant activities with departmental supervisors
and their teams to ensure effective use of plant capacity, assets,
Hire, inspire, and develop your team members.
Develop, manage and achieve plant budget targets, insuring that
strong financial controls are in place.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE:
10+ years of leadership in manufacturing environments.
A track record of driving continuous operating improvement in
plant operations -- a proven change agent
A full and verifiable understanding and commitment to lean
operating principles as a foundation for effective operations and
Working knowledge of a variety of operational excellence
competencies including yet not limited to: Lean Manufacturing and
Six Sigma, Visual Management, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work,
Policy Deployment, One-piece Flow, 6S, Kaizen, SMED, Kanban, Poke
Yoke, Target Costing, Six Sigma and TPM.
Experience with analytical and reporting tools (MS Excel, etc.)
is strongly desired. Experience with SAP and salesforce will allow
you to jump right in.
