In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures,
principle accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Oversees the development and implementation of a strategic sales
and department plans to achieve FAR sales objectives.
Collaborates with sales force to resolve significant customer
issues to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
Ensures support structure is adequate to meet or exceed customer
Ensures critical feedback to SEC regarding activity, trends, and
competitive issues in the marketplace.
Removes barriers and negotiates with EAI and SEC to provide
resources necessary to ensure critical marketing and sales
objectives are met.
Provides strategic direction in the design and creation of
marketing programs to help achieve sales objectives, such as what
trade shows to attend, media outlets, and web site design.
Determines the final price of products in the US market based on
market analysis to determine what the market will bear, the
competition, product cost.
Promotes the Robotics Industry and therefore Epson Robots
through industry associations and/or trade shows such the Robotics
Industry Association and/or Assembly Technology Exposition.
Help the Sales Operations Manager determine the strategy and
tactics necessary to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction as
well as develop, implement, and achieve the department objectives
that are consistent with FAR’s overall strategy and objectives.
Oversees administrative function and ensures that corporate
policies and procedures are adhered to.
Ensures forecasting accuracy for FAR group on both Sales and
inventory of product.
Determines with the Sales Operations Mgr, and National Sales
Manager what reporting is necessary for Sales, and upper EAI and
SEC manager, and then oversees the implementation of those
Oversees applications development management to meet customer
Oversees product development management to meet SEC
Works with Senior Manager of Product Development and Planning
Manager to coordinate escalating new product discrepancies between
EAI and SEC (such as product benefit, and product marketing
disagreements) with SEC Product management to ensure the correct
product and promotion of that product in the US market place.
Oversees the assessment of training needs of customers and
development of curriculum to meet those needs.

corporations and outside organizations.
Carry/lift loads of Light (up to 20 pounds
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of FAR, which includes
Sales, Marketing, Applications, Service, Customer Training and
Administration to ensure division sales and operational objectives
are met, developing the Vision and Mission of FAR that is
consistent with SEC’s and EAI’s “Epson One” vision and mission,
leading the organization in the development, implementation, and
achievement, of key management objectives for the FAR business
unit, and communicating these key objectives and their status to
EAI upper management and SEC.
Collaborates with/Key Customers include End-Users, System
Integrators, SEC, and EAI.
Minimum Experience Requirements
D - Requires specialist experience at more advance level (8-12
D - Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent
experience (B.A. or B.S.).
