We are seeking a Customer Service Representative in the
city of Long Beach CA for our client's Manufacturing
Long Term performance to hire!
Mon- Fri $20.00/hr
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interacts daily with customers, production, logistics, and
inside sales team to effectively meet Parker’s customer
- Collaborates with Manufacturing and Planning Team to ensure the
lead times and min/max quantities of each order are acceptable for
- Coordinates with relevant functions on technical and/or quality
issues, data requirements, and other business as applicable.
- Responds to customer inquiries via fax, phone or email.
- Check stock, provide availability dates and/or freight quotes
upon request of the customer.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as
- Participates in training sessions, meetings, skill building and
professional development classes.
- Resolve customer inquiries, including but not limited to order
status, order entry, account status, and sales promotions.
- Process all customer orders received via EDI, PH Connect,
Phone, Fax and/or Email through order entry system (MSSV)
efficiently and error free
- 2 years customer experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional departments
including but not limited to Pricing, Sales, Administration,
Logistics, Finance, Quality, Marketing, Distribution and Territory
