Funraise began while our co-founders Justin, Jason, and Tony were working together at a nonprofit organization. Together, they had over 15 years of nonprofit experience and had raised millions online, but continually spent significant resources to implement technology solutions for their fundraising ideas. Eventually, they found they were using a bunch of platforms to essentially do one thing: fundraise online.

We built Funraise to solve the problems we faced as nonprofit fundraisers. Position Overview:

As an Account Executive at Funraise, you will be responsible for running a full sales cycle to consistently meet and exceed pipeline and revenue targets. In collaboration with your manager, you will take an active role in forming your strategic achievement plan.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Strategically prospect via phone, email, video, LinkedIn, etc. for new business opportunities. We encourage creativity and genuineness!
  • With our unique business model in mind, identify the proper mix of quality and quantity in the organizations you will sell to.
  • Take a high degree of ownership over your segment of the business. We see you as the CEO of your domain.
  • Work efficiently and independently in a remote environment
  • Model excellent presentation and communication skills, typically via Zoom
  • Attend conferences and occasional in-person sales meetings
  • Become a thought leader in the industry regarding nonprofit strategy
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, thoughtfully leading the conversation and delivering followthrough on time
  • Present weekly activity and opportunity pipeline updates to management
  • Collaborate with other departments in Funraise, including Customer Success, Marketing, R&D, Billing and Leadership to drive the sales process
  • Be a Sales team player! Were all in this together. Our success depends on each of us contributing our best.

    • BS/BA degree or equivalent in relevant sales experience
    • 3+ years of sales experience, SaaS preferred
    • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas, while leading with empathy
    • Stellar interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, across all levels and personas (CEOs, Executive Directors, Finance leads, Developers, CTOs, other salespeople, or anyone in between)
    • Passionate about nonprofits and making the world a better place
    • Coachable and excited to build skillset
    • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial start-up environment
    • Adaptability and aptitude for adjusting to market shifts

      Bonus Points:
      • Experience with SaaS sales
      • Experience with Sales enablement tools such as Salesforce CRM, Outreach, Zoominfo, LinkedIn
      • Experience in the nonprofit sector
      • Strong GIF game

              We moved to a fully distributed team (remote) at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic for the health and safety of our employees and their families.
