Job DescriptionSalary: The Southern California Food Allergy Institute (SCFAI) is a cutting-edge research and clinical care center that is revolutionizing food allergy treatment through its use of big data and technology to offer customized therapeutic treatment. We offer the one-of-a-kind Tolerance Induction Programâ„¢, an individualized treatment program designed to help children with food allergies achieve true "Food Freedom"- the ability to eat whatever they want, whenever they want, without fear of reaction. SCFAI has successfully treated thousands of patients to true "Food Freedom" from all over the world and is rapidly growing to meet the needs of our expanding enrollment waitlist. We are currently seeking a Master Scheduler to oversee the clinical staff scheduling process to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our clinical facilities. In this role, you will develop, plan, and manage the scheduling of multiple levels of clinical employees with respect to room resources and forecasted demand. The ideal candidate will bring previous experience in a production-planning environment with strong organizational and analytical skills. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and communicate daily schedule to ensure effective utilization of personnel and facility resources
  • Coordinate with Clinical Leadership daily to determine workflow and prioritization of schedule
  • Organize and prioritize daily work schedules and translate to utilization
  • Ensure exceptions are identified and managed in a timely manner, and communicated effectively to the appropriate parties
  • Conduct post-shift schedule review with department leaders
  • Maintain accurate tracking of outcomes and trends that may impact future planning efforts
  • Develop and maintain a professional working relationship with staff by understanding the requirements and needs of the patient base.
  • Be an active partner with the IT, Software, and management teams to improve forecasting and scheduling reports
  • Performs other duties as required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in related field
    • Minimum 5 years' experience working in a master scheduling capacity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
    • Previous experience with scheduling software and/or production planning systems
    • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
