Job Description:

We are located in the heart of Long Beach. We proudly work alongside the federal government-funded Lifeline Assistance program, and our job is to distribute free cell phones to underserved communities. We pride ourselves on the work that we do for our community, and our team finds much joy in being able to help those in need. Over this past year, we have experienced much success in the exponential amount of consumers we have been able to enroll in the Federal Lifeline program. Because of our success, we are expanding our Customer Support team!

We pride ourselves on the extensive training we provide for our new team members. In addition, our senior team members ensure that every new employee has the essential tools to not only master the position but to be able to grow within our company as well. We have big goals to expand into new territories and extend the reach of the Federal Lifeline Program, so we need the next core member to be able to do so!

*Responsibilities of the Customer Support Representative: *
* Attend hands-on training from senior Community Outreach Specialists to understand the fundamentals of the role and gain knowledge of the program benefits

* Interact directly in person with consumers in a friendly manner and qualify them for the Federal Lifeline Program

* Master the entire enrollment process for each individual consumer and be able to educate each consumer fully on the program benefits

* Follow all CDC and client compliance guidelines when interacting with consumers to ensure safety for all

* Maintain the utmost confidentiality and professionalism when working with consumers to ensure they feel comfortable and confident in our program

* Collaborate with fellow Community Outreach Specialist team to enhance the consumer experience and improve customer satisfaction

* Troubleshoot, and problem solve any consumer issues by actively listening to concerns and implementing resolutions that will exceed their expectations

*Requirements of the **Customer Support Representative**: *
* Must possess a High School diploma or GED

* Degree in General Business, Business Administration, Communications, or other related fields of study is a PLUS!

* 0-3+ years of customer service, community engagement, or other related consumer-facing fields

* Must have advanced communication and people skills as well as a passion for helping others

* Must be open to receiving teaching and training to understand the role of the Customer Enrollment Specialist fully

* Must be a team player and possess an upbeat, positive attitude to complement our team environment and culture

Pay: $700.00 - $1,150.00 per week
