Job Description:

Reviews payable invoices for accuracy and matches to the purchase order submitted for authorization of purchase.
Corresponds with vendors when necessary, to correct, modify or obtain invoices.
Flags and clarifies unusual or questionable invoice items or prices.
Enters payable invoices with correct general ledger codes to ensure proper entry.
Tracks and processes expense reports.
Responds to emails, enters invoices, and pays vendors in a timely manner.
Researches un-paid and short paid invoices for vendors and other departments.
Monitors accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
Processes expense reports (Concur).
Reconciles department AMEX.
Reconciles vendor accounts.
Performs vendor set-up and maintenance.
Performs daily maintenance of A/P email box.
Processes 1099---s.
Assists in month end closing reports and accruals.
Reports to the finance director all situations requiring action.
Other duties as assigned.
QuickBooks experience is a huge plus.
