community.POSITION SUMMARY:Our Account Executive develops, manages
and expands relationships with employee benefit clients by
performing the following duties. The book of business consists of
clients over 100+ lives, with self-funded and fully insured plan
types. Proficiency with self-funding is preferred (not
required).Manage assigned book of business, develops client
relationships and meets strategic objectives to grow and retain
clients.Help to develop and implement client's benefits
strategies.Prepare a plan for each account to identify what and how
short and long term needs may be met.Interface with the client at
both the HR Manager/Director as well as the C-Suite level to
understand the customer's overall objectives and
requirements.Maintain regular interactions with clients to develop
client relationship as well as advise of new product and service
offerings and obtain feedback on performanceEnsure all services are
implemented according to established project plans and all client
deliverables meet quality standards.Act as the "quarterback"
directing the account team, which may be comprised of an Account
Representative(s) and Benefit Analyst(s) on all client work and
deliverables.Ensure account team is executing deliverables
according to standards and best practicesCoach and mentor the
account team and provides direction to the team on:o RFP and
marketing process, including which carriers to include in marketing
and negotiating rates with carrierso Strategies for new and
renewing planso Pre-renewal and renewal timelines, project plans,
meetings and presentationso Working with clients to identify the
possibility of wellness initiatives; pulls in the Wellness
Consultant/team to develop alternatives, determine specific plans
and implemento Offering and implementing all of value-added
serviceso Developing client's 3-5 year strategic plan as well as
the annual planning calendar and ensuring successful executiono SPD
wrap documents and 5500 filingso Strategies and execution for ACA
requirements, COVID and new administration legislationo Carrier and
vendor managemento Communicationso All aspects of executing Open
Enrollmento Provide direction on contribution modeling with Benefit
AnalystsThe team point person in regards to escalation for issues
or activities that the customer encounters with benefits programs
and services.Understand and explain all aspects of carrier renewals
for assigned clientsPrepares and conducts financial, technical and
product presentations and demonstrations.Share ideas and customer
needs throughout all phases of service life cycle (plan, design,
integrate, install, manage).Keep current on changes in legislation
impacting employee benefit programs and communicates with clients
on these changes.Is well educated on all HUB products and
services.Coordinate with the producer on any out of scope
services.*Position can be a hybrid role based in any of HUB's Los
Angeles/Orange County offices
- The expected salary range for this position is $64,480 to
$91,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful
candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the
specific position's business line, scope and level. HUB

experience within a brokerage environmentExperience supporting both
large and small groupsSelf-funding experience is preferred but not
requiredExperience as a strategic lead for accounts (leading client
meetings, client teams and the delegation of deliverables)Must hold

to recommend the best alternatives to clients.Computer Skills - Use
of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint to create effective
presentations and exhibits.Relationship Management -Develop and
maintain strong client relationships; work effectively with
insurance and service vendors to gain cooperation in meeting
clients' needs.Team Player - Effectively works with team.Leadership
- Demonstrates leadership skills; sets example for others to
follow. Effectively coaches others in developing their skills and
