How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Electronic Data Specialist will serve as a business consultant to all regions/BSC departments and will advise and carry out best practices in their areas of expertise relating to electronic/digital integrations such as EDI-Electronic Data Interchange and/or cXML. Electronic Data Specialist is responsible for managing all electronic data transactional activity, in addition to performing a wide array of customer service functions for electronic customers. This role will also serve as the first point of contact for questions on processes from the business regarding relevant electronic data functionality. The Electronica Data Specialist will support a business process excellence culture by supporting the Customer Digital Integrations Manager to identify process improvement solutions related to customers who transact electronically via eProcurement third party platforms.

Target Hourly Salary: $25 - $28
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with onboarding new electronic/digital customers.
  • Support the evaluation of order-to-cash process improvement opportunities.
  • Act as problem research liaison engaging subject matter experts including Credit/Collections, Special Handling, eBusiness Manager, Central Billing, Sales, Customer Service, etc. in evaluating the issue and determining a course of action.
  • Updating and improving interactions with existing trading partners.
  • Implementing electronic/digital (EDI-Electronic Data Interchange/cXML) solutions.
  • Maintaining an accurate record of transactions.
  • Management of IDOCs.
  • Resolution of rejections as related to electronic/digital processes.
  • Monitors EDI-Electronic Data Interchange activity to ensure that purchase orders are being processed correctly and in a timely manner and notify all applicable teams of any issues.
  • Assist with credit and rebill activities and other customer account issues as related to electronic/digital customers.
  • Submits requests/changes for EDI-Electronic Data Interchange setup for the business unit as needed.
  • Responsible for working with internal teams for accurate purchase order processing that have been processed manually.
  • Ensuring all electronic/digital accounts are flagged within SAP appropriately.
  • Review and resolution of disputes related to EDI-Electronic Data Interchange customers or EDI-Electronic Data Interchange Root cause code.
  • Develop process improvements around electronic data integrations.
  • Assist Manager of Customer Digital Integration in reducing outstanding Account Receivables on digitally integrated customers with an invoice output condition of ZINT/ZEDI.

        MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

          Required Education:
          • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree in Accounting or Business related field a plus.


            Required Length & Type of Experience:
            • 1+ years of experience working with electronic data technologies.
            • Operational experience in a company that sells across multi ecommerce platforms is a requirement
            • Two-plus years billing/accounts receivable experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with some experience as a Customer Service Representative a plus.
            • Experience with customer service/communication
            • Understanding of efficiency principles such as Lean/Six Sigma and/or root cause analysis principles
            • Understanding of the Order to Cash cycle
            • Experience in Google platform


              Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA's):
              • Experience with SAP and/or ERP systems is a plus.
              • IDOC experience in SAP is a plus.
              • Excellent analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
              • Working knowledge of EDI and other electronic digital platforms.
              • Basic understanding of electronic transactions.
              • STRONG excel/sheets skills such as: reporting, vlookups, pivot tables, sum/if, Google drives, etc.
              • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
              • Must be capable of operating independently, but readily seek the counsel of others, when necessary.
              • Team player who can collaborate to drive better outcomes.
              • Ability to set goals and motivate self.
              • Looks for innovative solutions to complex problems.
              • Ability to manage multiple levels of priorities between divisional, local and corporate management and demands.
