Join the Crisis24 team today and be a part of something extraordinary where growth and impact converge.We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Senior Consultant/Consultant with a strong focus on sales and business development to join our Crisis & Security Consulting (CSC) team in Africa. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years' relevant experience in security, intelligence, risk, or crisis management, along with proven experience in generating and developing new business opportunities. You should possess an established network of industry contacts and clients across Africa and demonstrate strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive sales initiatives and recognize new business prospects. Fluency in a second language such as French is highly desirable. Candidates based in South Africa are preferred, but other locations will be considered.What You Will Work OnIn this role, you'll be at the forefront of delivering and managing Security Risk Management, Crisis Management, and Business Continuity Management consulting services. You will take a proactive role in business development by identifying and generating new consultancy opportunities, developing and overseeing client proposals, and representing CSC in client pitches and meetings. Your responsibilities will include scoping and pricing RFPs, managing client relationships, and introducing the broader GardaWorld services to clients. Additionally, you will deploy to client offices throughout Africa and other international locations to provide pre-incident consulting services and 'All Hazards' crisis management response support.Who You Will Work WithYou will report to the Director (Africa, Middle East & Asia-Pacific) and collaborate closely with the immediate CSC team, Associate Consultant Team, CSC Management, and the wider Crisis24 and GardaWorld teams. Externally, you will engage with clients, information sources, third-party providers, and subcontractors to enhance our service offerings and expand our client base.What You Will Bring

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, a creative and solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Your sales and business development skills will be crucial in building trust and expanding our client network. You should be adept at identifying and capitalizing on commercial opportunities, with a strong ability to build lasting relationships and maintain composure during challenging situations.
• Flexibility and motivation to work irregular hours while delivering high-quality results are essential.
• Strong working knowledge of Security Risk Management, Corporate Investigations, Business Continuity, and Crisis Management best practices and industry standards.
• Interest in geopolitical and security issues and how such issues impact various global sectors.
• IT literate with a demonstrative knowledge of all Windows programs and applications.PreferredA relevant security risk management qualification such as CSMP, CPP, or PSP is preferred. Experience working and traveling across Africa, including in high-threat or hostile environments, is advantageous.
