Job DescriptionJob Purpose

Provide administrative support to the Sales Department. Assists in the day-to-day activities of Inside and Outside sales functions. Coordinate administrative functions of the department.

Essential Functions:

-- Provide administrative support to assigned Account Executives

-- Process all proposals and coordinating account paperwork in CRM (Salesforce)

-- Answer and field inbound sales calls to the proper parties.

-- Assist in data entry and pre-qualification of new leads to be distributed to the sales team in the

Sales force including, web, referrals and trade show interests

-- Process RFP/RFB requests and Vendor Pre-Qualification Forms.

-- Assist Account Executives with procurement of leads from various outlets

-- Assist Sales Operations Manager and Corporate Sales Engineer with special projects

-- Assist in the coordination of various sales activities

Secondary Functions:


  • Must have professional telephone presentation, email etiquette, positive attitude
  • Must be a team player
  • Must have excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Must possess excellent customer service and organizational skills


    Education/Experience:


    • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma


      • At least one year administrative and/or customer Service experience required.


        Job Skills:


        • Excellent written, editing and verbal communication skills a must.
        • Proficient with CRM preferably Salesforce
        • Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, PowerPoint) experience required.
        • Strong ability to manage projects, handle multiple projects simultaneously and balance competing priorities and deadlines
        • Proactive and able to work with people of different backgrounds and perspectives


          Other Requirements:


          • Maintaining composure in dealing with Sales executives, clients, staff and the public.
          • Ability, on a consistent basis, to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time.
          • Ability, on a consistent basis, to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial time pressure, and to perform under the demands set by the company.
          • Ability to perform the general duties and responsibilities set forth above in a consistent and efficient manner.
          • Ability, on a consistent basis, to perform work activities requiring cooperation, instruction, persuasion, and/or speaking with otherss


            Physical requirements:
            • Occasional walking, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
            • Regular talking and hearing.
            • Hearing sufficient to communicate with team member, clients, and outside resources.
            • Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
            • Eyesight sufficient to read, write and operate equipment essential to this position
            • Must have manual dexterity to manage telephones and computer equipment simultaneously and with respect to other duties.
            • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
            • Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.


              • Must be able to maintain visual acuity and alertness for long periods of time.
              • Must have the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions described.
              • Eyesight sufficient to read, write and operate equipment essential to this position.
              • Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
              • Must have manual dexterity to manage telephones and computer equipment simultaneously and with respect to other duties.
              • Hearing sufficient to communicate with team members and personnel.
              • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
