If so, please consider applying for this millwork inventory position today!YOUR LIFE AS A PURCHASING AGENTAs a Purchasing Agent, you ensure our team has all the resources they need to complete every millwork project. You communicate with your coworkers to determine their material needs and order items accordingly. Before every purchase, you speak with vendors about pricing and availability, and you pass lead time information on to material requesters. You always strive to get the best price, which you achieve by actively researching suppliers and negotiating when possible.Attentive to detail, you diligently review and process purchase orders and returns, checking that all information is accurate. Proactively, you follow up on material orders as well as coordinate "will calls" from vendors to guarantee we have the resources we need when we need them. Using purchasing and inventory software, you maintain an accurate and up-to-date record of our supply levels. You feel great about arming your coworkers with the supplies they need to get the job done!WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• 2+ years of related experience or training OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to create purchase orders and track shipments
