These responsibilities include some of the following: Provide Scientific Knowledge, Business Acumen, and Customer Engagement expertise to specialist and primary care customers in support of GSK respiratory products. Core responsibilities: Develop and maintain knowledge of COPD and Asthma disease states, GSK products and competitive products for competitive selling Drive territory sales performance by increasing product market share/volumes of promoted COPD/Asthma products through impactful selling interactions with specific specialist and primary care customers Analyze sales data and develop territory business plans to consistently grow business Provide product educational programs and in-services to customers Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Territory Partners, Marketing, Payer Relations Managers, Medical (MSLs), and other functions within GSK Effectively manage allocated resources (i.e., financial) Work within compliance guidelines and GSK values Provide exceptional customer service by responding to our customers' requests, inquiries and needs Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: BA/BS degree Minimum 2 years pharmaceutical sales experience with a successful track record of exceeding expectations Ability to travel domestically as necessary. The amount will depend on the specific territory size. Valid Driver's License - Must be able to drive or operate a vehicle - driving is an essential function of this role. Preferred Qualifications: The following characteristics would be a plus: Respiratory product experience is a major plus but not necessary. Strong organizational skills to maintain a high level of productivity, innovation, and priority-setting to complete assignments on-time and on-budget Familiarity with; Managed Care Plans, Insurance Formularies, Retail Pharmacies (understanding prescription processing, prior authorizations etc.) Proficiency with Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook and familiarity with CRM software Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills required Demonstrated competency in science, business acumen, and customer engagement Demonstrated ability to identify unique sales opportunities and to perform tasks beyond designated responsibilities Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills Strong business planning skills and ability to multi-task Can work independently and drive behavior change through impactful selling Why GSK?
